with mux i meaned to make mp4 from your source video before streaming it, not vlm settings .

mux mp4 and you dont need to transcode

try option sout-keep , or try to mux that video to mp4 (afther that no transcoding needed)

Add to vlc shorcut properties ,to target area --sout-keep ** , and also for make sure in http control center in option for channel sout-keep (setup channel1 option sout-keep)
