You can find the skin in the VLC folder under /skins/default.vlt (You can extract that .vlt file with 7zip or Winrar)

It´s a odd bug in the current vlc build. Press the "save" button has the same function as the "open" button, it´s only wrong labeled.

Is there any chance that you will take a look on how skins2 handles large png´s? Atm i decided to remove the timeline based filling of bars because it forces heavy cpu load. Depending of the bar size and desired look, there can be huge files like 500px x 8500px, which forces the cpu load to around 5...

Find out such behavior on my playlist loop control too. I doesn´t really remember if it´s the repeat or random control, but one of them seems buggy.

Try to check the XML file for special chars like ü ö or ä and have a look at any unclosed or unsupported tag.
