In full screen mode when we have the minimal interface enable
it would be good to have the recording button on that interface panel as well.

Also have some OSD indicator that a "screen recording + duration timer of that recording" is occurring would be useful

Because we never added that button to the macOS interface in favor of the menu item. A design choice. Oic You should make it more consistent so people know where it is regardless of the OS Also it is much more easier to press the button to start or stop a recording.. This is also a bad design choic...

There is no such button. However, you can find an entry doing the same in the Playback menu.

why is it missing in mac version but not in windows version > advance controls?

After pressing the record button, I would like a visual indicator on screen that it is currently recording the onscreen video.. like how the video camcorder shows a flashing recording icon OSD.. i tried it and it still occurs sometimes... it would be freeze for a moment or sometimes longer before changing the scene while leaving an artefact of the previous scene for a moment.. i think it can't handle errors properly or some problem with decoding certain section i also think this is a stutte...

but the programmers should implement a checkbox for disabling subtitles automatically in the video settings section for other ppl to use easily..

is there any hidden settings to turn off subtitles automatically with mkv movies
or do we always have to do it manually?

if possible can the programmers please implement this setting in the next release.
