Hi, I doubt any version of VLC will ever fix this, since its not really a player issue. The local network that you have established is not really "shared" in the sense that both computers have the file. You merely have access to it and if the other computer is shut down, there is no way to...

This means that the video is interlaced, which is normal for PAL vob files (R2 european DVDs). You can try and watch the file normally by experimenting with some of the options like "blend" found in video > deinterlace. This isn't a permanent solution though, to get rid of the interlacing ...

Yes, it seems to be a minor error with the latest release. Subtitle track 0 is recognised as the LAST item on the subtitle track listing instead of the first option, which should be "disabled". Here's how I got around this problem 1) Go to Tools > Preferences (or CTRL + P) 2) Where it says...

1) Go to tools > preferences (or just press CTRL + P)

2) Select the audio tab

3) Set the "Default Volume" to the volume you want

4) Press Save.

Hopefully that should fix it.

Logitech itouch utility for latest VLC

Hi, I know there have been a few threads on this in the past, but they were such a long time ago that I thought it best not to resurrect those. Besides, those were old versions and VLC is constantly becoming more compatible with alternate hotkeys, etc. Well with the exception of this case I guess......
