Playing Blu-ray on VLC?

In the "Open Disk"-options there appears to be an option for playing Blu-ray disks, but only error messages emerge when I try to use it. Is some system tweaking required to make it work, or is it something intended for future versions of the player that for some reson was left in this vers...

Blue time slider a minor distraction in 2.0.0

I just switched to the newest version of the player, and for the most part the experience has been very positive. However, as a minor gripe, the bright blue time slider is a slight distraction to watching a video in a window. I would request changing it to darker shade of gray instead, or at least o...

Re: VLC crashes whenever I try to take a screenshot

Re: VLC crashes whenever I try to take a screenshot

But it does also make the player work more slowly; there are delays of several seconds when jumping to different parts of the recording, and when starting a new one. I hope that the issue will be fixed for good in the next version. In any case, ...

VLC crashes whenever I try to take a screenshot

In a nutshell, I've tried setting the folder to different places, but no avail. I have no idea what other settings might affect the issue, but the fact is that every time I try to take a screenshot with VLC 1.05 in Windows XP, the program simply crashes without warning. My video card is ASUS EAH5850...

Re: Old skin (classic 0.8.*) on new version (0.9.2)

I too find the changes done to the new interface needlessly cluttered, and unhelpful. When I've spent years using interface at the top of the screen, switching to the bottom for no reason feels jarring, to say the least. Furthermore, none of the changes feels helpful or useful - the only one that co...
