I've got the same problem, I can't believe there not way to save what VLC just recovered so nicely! It's got to save what it just fixed somewhere, hasn't it? I can't see any reason why one couldn't have access to that fixe bit of data... that's really above me. I've tried AviDemux, it won't even ope...
