I have the same problem using the API JVLC0.9.0 (VLC0.9.8a) with the classes:
org.videolan.jvlc.JVLC
org.videolan.jvlc.MediaDescriptor
org.videolan.jvlc.MediaPlayer
org.videolan.jvlc.event.MediaPlayerListener

In which version of VLC, this bug will be fixed?
