The trac site at https://trac.videolan.org/ seems to be down for some time. I have found http://trac-test.videolan.org/vlc but attachments are missing. E.g. I want this patch http://trac-test.videolan.org/vlc/ticket/2985 but it is not there. Any suggestions?

Thanks for replying Remi. I switched the ftp server into debug mode and captured the output of a failed run from vlc 0.9.4 on my ubuntu box, and then of a good run from vlc 0.8.6 on my wife's xp box.
