Good idea to switch back! ... but it does not solve all problems! I cant use vlc any more! I tried to update by de-installing the version 0.8.6 and then then installing 0.9.8. The version 0.9.8. did not start do to missing adjustment or something like this and a switch back ... oh wonder... does not...
