try this:
open your DVB-T channel in vlc (so that it is possible to watch it). Now open the playlist and click right mouse button on the "dvb://" in the list. Select "Streaming" an go on like you have done before.

I use a Hauppauge wintv nova HD-s2 on a OpenSuse 11.1 System. Works perfectly but i use the drivers of the HVR4000.

how can i use channels.conf to get all dvb-s channels in vlc?? i have made my own channels.conf with scan, but when i open this file with "vlc channels.conf" it doesn't work.
