Re: auto update on imcomplete video, specifically rar type

Yes, the AVI are necessarily broken in RAR. Hey, I'm sorry I didn't quite understand. Do you mean that this is still a bug that will be fixed, or that the AVI is broken in the RAR I tested? If you mean the latter, I checked the RAR with VLC 1.1.9 and it worked fine - so it means that it is a bug wi...

Re: auto update on imcomplete video, specifically rar type

just took the latest trunk. playing split RAR files causes VLC to proclaim it as broken AVIs (1.1.9 is fine)
also, i didn't see in the trac anything in the 1.2 feature freeze or bugs about handling RAR files

Will 1.2 contain a fix for this?

It will be much appreciated.
Thanks...

I am using Windows 7 64-bit and following step-by-step from http://wiki.videolan.org/Win32CompileMSYSNew As accurat...

Caching problems over wireless network share

Hi, I have two computers connected via wireless LAN. I set up sharing on one of them. When I play an AVI file the video and/or audio sometimes freezes. I searched the forum and tried increasing the caching value from 300ms to 2000ms and then 6000ms. There's some improvement but wasn't solved. Link q...
