I saw that too...at first I thought it was my monitor being screwy (old laptop), but I guess it's true. I wonder if there are more...we'll have to wait for more seasons of VLC 0.9.

I wish I could connect to the internet, but the laptop doesn't have ethernet. For that command, would you have to run it on every .deb, or just the first one?
That's a really slow site for me.

I want to get VLC on my laptop to play DVDs, but the laptop doesn't get internet. Is there a way to, say, download an installer? I have no skills so the following are NOT options: compiling binaries without exact instructions using command line without exact instructions I have an internet connected...
