Re: Streaming all data with RTP / RTSP

What do you mean by "Maybe it does not handle your text format"? Apparently TS supports the codec, otherwise it wouldn't work via multicast, correct? Does RTP (or RTSP) somehow transcode a stream automaticly and I have to disable that option? By the way, how do I get a RTSP VOD stream runn...

Streaming all data with RTP / RTSP

Hey fellows, if I stream to a multicast address, I receive all the data (audi, video, teletext ect.). But if I try to stream to an unicast address, I only receive one audi and one video line and no teletext or what so ever. My question is, how can I stream all the data I get from my tv-card (dvb-s) ...

Re: 1 card, 2 streams

Well, I got it running now, but in a really weird way! First of all, I stream multicast on a NIC wich isn't connected to a network, just to collect all the streams. Then I have to start a unicast stream on the same NIC. The source is the multicast stream I want to use. Finally, I'm able to use the m...

Re: 2 cards, 1 stream

Hi j-b, thx for your answer! I know that it's possible to route multicast packets. But I'm looking for another way to do that, without actually routing / forwarding. I had a simple idea. You could actually stream on one NIC and take that stream as an input to stream with the other NIC. It work's as ...

1 card, 2 streams

Hi everyone, I was wondering if there's a way how to stream simultaneously on two NICs from the same tv-dvb-card (transponder)? I basicly want to simulate multicast forwarding. For some reason it won't work to use a software router on linux (like smcroute or mrouted) and that's why I thought it woul...

Re: VLMa only works once

Hi jpountz,

Now it work's just fine!

Thx anyway :)

VLMa only works once

Hi everyone, first of all... really nice Webinterface. I actually was working on a WebUI for my IP/TV Server but I then got a message from a friend that there's something similar out there. Well, at least I learned something about VLMs, VLC DVB Streaming and so on :D . However, if I stop the VLMa Se...
