H.264 and ISMA

Hi,

does anybody know if it is possible to load a SDP file via HTTP for decoding a H.264 stream? Or is RTSP the only way to do so?

Both problems are solved in Version 0.8.2-test3.
But the problem described in "SAP not working in 0.8.2-test2"(viewtopic.php?t=9668&start=0&postdays=0 ... highlight=) is still present.

I'm not quite sure how to find out.
Which information in the SDP tells that HTTP is used?

I know that the stream itself is a Multicast-RTP-stream.

VLC 0.8.1 crashes if receiving SAP with Audio only

Hi, I have an A/V-Server here capable of using SAP. If I configure both Audio and Video everything is fine with VLC. But if I use Audio only I have two problems: a) the VLC player (V. 0.8.1) instantly crashes (read access violation) as soon as it receives the SAP announcement. b) If I disable SAP on...

I found out the default address myself:
It is 224.2.127.254:9875

But one question remains:
Is it possible to change the SAP listen address in the player?

SAP Playlist: Address & Port?

Hi,

how do I tell the VLC Player from where he should take the SAP information?
Or: What is the SAP address the Player is listening to? (I expect the port to be 9875)
Does anybody know?

Thank you for reading!
Uwe

P.S.: I'm using VLC media player 0.8.1 for Windows
