I have managed to compile VLC 0.9.8a with AMR support, but now I have problem that all AMR encoded audio is stretched.

I compiled vlc-0.9.8a today and still have problem streaming from darwin server:

I know it worked in the past, why it got broken? How can I fix that?

Is there any reasons why VLC can not use legally-free AMR codec implementation from http://www.penguin.cz/~utx/amr ?
