I’m having an issue with logging into the Mac from my iPhone using SMB. VLC won’t remember my credentials; I have to log in each time. I’ve clicked “Save” and I see a login entry below the “Save” button. Next time I launch the app that entry is missing and I have to enter port, user, password again....

Where does one get VLC versions 3+?

I've searched the videolan site and see only 2.2.x downloads available. Is source available for newer versions? Are you building this version yourself?

For Network URLs (streaming content) a Favorites list is invaluable.

It's a pain to open the web page in a browser and then get the URL into VLC to open and play it.

Please consider adding a Favorites feature.
