hi, when i try to run Full HD resolution 1920x1080 videos on VLC 1.0.1 it tends to freeze up or produce lots of glitches on the screen. i checked with Tools->Media information->statistics and found that there were many lost frames.this problem is found in all formats of Full HD such as wmv, mov, mpe...

Ok i found the solution. looks like lot of ppl have hit this Wall(no pun intended) on vlc 0.9.* release. The solution is like this. Click on Preferences. On the video screen disable "Overlay" option which is checked by default. And on the Filter Screen there are two parts the top portion i...
