VLC doesn't crash my PC, the PC works perfectly well. The problem is that I have to reboot if I want to watch any more of the movie or FF/RW to other sections. Also when the video freezes the CPU usage also gets maxed out.

Until this bug gets sorted out I will just have to use BS Player

Exactly the same problem here. This only started happening when i upgraded to 0.9.6. I didn't like the new version anyway so went back to 0.8.x but I have the same problem. VLC is now useless as I cant want any movie at all because of the video freezing. The only way I can get it back is to start th...
