Figured out how to actually do this. Now, the video quality intermittently worsens then fixes itself. Any way to prevent this from happening? Also, how do I improve the video quality?

I'm not sure what's going on - but I can't seem to get anything to play through VLC. Doesn't seem to be any errors, the devices are recognized, but no screen comes up once dshow initiates.
