THANKS!!! that solves most of my issues right there. Will do the "install" later tomorrow or next day and if anything crops up I will ask in this thread. I was hoping to be able to install it fully in windows but it just didn't occur to me that I could instead just have it run from a folde...

my "workaround" for this issue which is slowly driving me nutz... I use the search interface in windows to do the file finding, or just "browse" in the explorer windows to network share and look for the files, in both cases you need to share the folder the files are in to be able...
