keep window same size after playlist transition

If I'm watching several things in my playlist I want to know how to keep the play window the same size when 1 title ends and it switches to another.

Its REALLy annoying that it constantly switches back to a small window, there must be a fix for this?

Could you share one non-working MP3 file to us? whilst i had 1.0.0 running it happened with every individual mp3 I tried to play which was well over 25 different tracks as I was writing several album reviews at the time. it got that unbearable I rolled back to...

Audio delay steps are currently set in increments of 50 ms, is it possible to alter this to increments of 25 ms or even less?

Re: Couple of issues with 1.0.0

1. There is no issue reported, except wma and wmv. well i'm reporting it for MP3 now, ok? 2. VLC should start in less than one second. If not, delete %appdata%/vlc folder. What folder? can't find anything called appdata. I've also encountered issues where sound is really awful on fast forward (you'...

Re: FLV issue?

You mean that double clicking .flv won't open it in VLC?
correct.

however dropping an flv onto VLC when its already open WILL play one.

Couple of issues with 1.0.0

1st:- Audio buffering. Its bloody annoying. Tunes dont start right away and you can't just drag the progress bar to anywhere in a track and have it restart instantly like older versions did, it has to buffer now. WHY? 2nd:- VERY slow start-up. VLC is now MUCH more noticably slower to open and start ...

Re: query on audio plugin support

You don't know what SID files are? Either your very young or you lived in a cave during the 80's.
SID files were Commodore 64 music audio files.

query on audio plugin support

There are plugins for stuff like MOD, XM and IT tracker files.
Is there one available for SID files?

Foobar has one but it'd be nice if VLC had one, I'd have no use for Foobar at all then ;-)

FLV issue?

It'll play an FLV file if its dragged and dropped onto an already open instance of version 1.0.0 but it won't open or play an FLV if VLC player isn't already running?

Whys that then?
And explain why no IC50 /indeo support. DOn't just say "we don't support it", explain why!

Re: Video Quality Worsened

Hi,
As I have explained in another post, I'm having the same problem but found a fix: I switched to directx output and disabled overlay.
But it seems that there is indeed a bug with 0.9.9
thanks,
gh.
EXACTLY in SIMPLE terms how do I disable overlay?
Treat me as though I'm stupid.

try making them easier to find then. I had to dl an older version from elsewhere as I was totally unable to find anything apart from the latest version.

I haven't got a dedicated graphics card in my machine, its onboard so can't alter open gl settings.
I'll stick with the older version until the programmers figure out what they screwed up.

Time to start hosting older versions too?

This is now the 2nd time I have installed the newest version and its been inferior to the version I was already running.
Wouldn't it be nice to either include a rollback function or start hosting the older versions of the program on the main site?

Re: Video Quality Worsened

i'm having this issue as well and all i did was upgrade to 0.9.9 from 0.9.8a which rendered images super smooth with no stupid blockyness. i have not touched ANYTHING. clearly its a vlc issue, i assumed you'd screwed around with HD settings. yep, having tested films, tv and other different video its...

default key performing a different action?

Running 0.9.2 here and was watching a movie, pressed spacebar to pause and take a bathroom break yet it didn't pause. Instead it slowed playback down, pressing it again slowed it down even more. Pressed + to get back to normal speed and clicked pause button which worked, after coming back from bathr...
