Hi, If you mainly watch movies with VLC this behaviour is very annoying. I would also have the behaviour of 0.8.x back. So my current decision was to deinstall 0.9.x and reinstall the latest 0.8.x version so I could enjoy scrolling through the movies without placing the mouse exactly over the slider...
