Next problem can be in your firewall. Check your configuration or disable for the moment.

for example

route add 230.0.1.3 192.168.2.65

Now run VLC

In multicast address us 230.0.1.3

Client mode is udp://@230.0.1.3

I think, VLC haven' t support flv format.

Have your network adapter multicast mode enable?

Because you must change file type, that is why transcode.

vlc rtsp://IPADDRESS:554/live.sdp --sout '#transcode{access=http{mime=video/x-flv},mux=ffmpeg{mux=flv},dst=IPADDRESS:10001/stream.flv}'
source in /change video type/source out

I configured VLC sever to file record. I would have daily record files from my IP camera but the name must change automatic. I us Debian. Any idea?
