I've had exactly same issue since upgrading to 3.0.2 - worked perfectly fine on 2.8 (or thereabouts, can't recall exactly) that I had previously.

So I reinstalled 3.0.2 but this time selected delete preferences and cache, and all worked aok this time.

I get the broken avi message whenever I try to open a small collection of avis I have... only if I say *Play As Is* then they work perfectly with seeking working, the time works perfectly... in short no problems whatsoever. I ran the files through a repair avi test and it says there's nothing wrong ...

When I found this problem after updating, I just reverted back to 0.9.4 - that works fine for flv.

While I realise a lot of people like having the sound while playing faster or slower, is there any way to turn this off so it behaves as it did previously (ie silent when not playing at normal speed). I apologise if this has been discussed.. I tried searching several times but got nothing about how ...
