When I add things to the main playlist window, they do not 'survive' a restart. Is there some way of keeping the playlist?

In order to enter fullscreen mode I have to click > interface > minimal view then > interface > Toggle Fullscreen Interface. If I simply press "f" it scales to both screens and covers my second monitor. Pressing F11 does nothing. Is there some setting somewhere I can rectify this issue so ...

OK, I have just compressed four VOB files into AVI files. So, how do I concatenate them into one file?(in Linux) Either concatenate the VOBs then compress or compress then concatenate the AVIs. It makes no difference to me.

Ok, I got it. I had to edit a few la files as they were pointing to a location the library did not exist. Like so:

grep /usr/lib/libgpg-error.la /usr/lib/lib*.la

Then edited the la files to match where the library was.

I noticed it seems to look for libs in /usr/lib when I have most of these libraries in /usr/local/lib. I have libvorbis 1.2.0. Is that a problem? I would think the latest version would be best. I tried 1.1.2 and got the same error.

What are Tpo and Plo files? I noticed they just released a new theora and got some errors with state.Tpo/Plo. Maybe this has to do with the problem?

I can't seem to compile VLC no matter what options I use. I've searched and have found no answer. Basically it errors out with the error below.
