i deleted the preferences and cache, when installing v0.92. i haven't installed/enabled any filter/equilizer.
the problem persists

In any VLC i used so far i maxed the volume using ctrk+up and the sound quality was excellent. Now when i max the volume it gets as if my headphones are blown out. At the same time if i increase the master volume in volume control i get louder and cleaner music. Why is that? To clarify: I watch movi...

Tools -> Preferences -> All (at the bottom) -> Advanced (first in the list) -> disable the checkbox one instance when started from file.
