here are 2 files from tv series sadly its greek subtitles but still u can see the upper line and not the lower one

not really important bug neither devastating but still a bug holding vlc one step before godlike perfection right click -> video -> subtitles track -> subs list some times that list of available subtitles is trasparent to the point of hardly visible this is happening rarely and its hard to reproduce...

pref -> show all -> codecs - > other codecs -> subs -> formatted subs

dunno why this has to be unchecked to see a movie subtitle properly but still

no i mean the advanced subtitle formatting option in the advance settings of vlc
with that on subs keep appearing half

most .srt files tend to do this, i am not sure about dvds and .sub whats happening is that many subtitles of the movie show only the upper line and fail to show the lower one at the beggining u just missing stuff from the dialogs thinking that whoever made the subs did a terrible job then starts to ...

would be nice for most and when select a certain "X" one that needs restart to get a warning that u have to restart to see the "X" happen

is it possible for an option to allow advance options to be setup right away instead of having to close and open player every time wasting time finding the correct time u were at ?

major bug most divx subtitles show only 1st line totally skipping 2nd line
u need to disable advance settings subtitle formating for this to stop
is that working as intended?

add directory in a vlc playlist full of files lets say between files 3 and 4
then proseed to play file 3
what do u expect? when reach the end of 3 play the files of the folder then 4
vlc however plays file 4 and puts all files of folder at the very end of playlist!

right click menu allow increments of 6% so u can go from 1.00 to 0.94 wich is pretty close to 0.96 but still not perfect convert from pal to ntsc

would be possible to implement increments of 4% or even 2%??

vlc is so amazing that i imagine this will be possible already to happen and i am just too retarded to figure out to do is it possible to implement a feature to play lets say a pal video to an ntsc speed something like 3-4% slower than normal or the oposite for ntsc videos play them faster to a pal ...

hmm thats not that usefull for multitasking

there is no need for an image just imagine a video with no captions borders menus or anything else not even the big blue above the image saying vlc player! basically just hide everything like bsplayer does making vlc the best multitasking player available

no vlc8 and media player classic cauze no issues

major request plz remove the big blue caption and blue border lines from minimal view so it can be really a minimal view like bsplayer does

apologies if this has been already mentioned but new vlc has several issues with controls some times osd menus dont appear on screen some times appear only in window mode some times not at all some times only sound OSD and messages but not the OSD time when u ctrl/alt/shift+left/right also when tryi...

i didnt say vlc cauzes standby

i said IF u try to go on standby (if battery goes low laptop does this automatically) while playing something with vlc system is stuck for 5 mins until u actually go standby
then it takes 5 mins for pc to go out of standby and its not stable , basically nothing works

couldnt find a bug forum so if this is in wrong place some1 move it plz try to go on standby while playing (assuming u have a laptop) and u will have to wait more than 10 mins and obviusly ur system will never become stable after standby unless u mannually restart the laptop maybe i am doing somethi...
