I am trying to play a mov, but it appear the following error:

No suitable decoder module:
VLC does not support the audio or video format "xdve". Unfortunately there is no way for you to fix this.

VLC doesnt autodetect the subtitles if there is any space between letter or words. This happens to me with avi format and srt subtitle format.

I tried showing all options in preferences to fix the problem but it still happens the same.

What can be the problem?

I am using vlc v0.9.2 on a XP SP2, when I play any ogm file videolan crashes
