I asked about this quite some time ago as a feature request.
It was something I wanted as well. Would be very handy to be able
to lock in the playback speed somehow.

Hope you guys might reconsider adding that feature.

Also in relation to "looped playback": A manual screen resizing also defaults back to the original size when the video starts over. If that could somehow be be locked in during looped play, it would be appreciated. Only manual resizing seems to revert when looped. Locked in configured size...

An option I'd like to see is a way to lock in a playback speed change until further notice. A lot of times I loop a small video clip of a sports or home movie, etc, and slow it down to catch the action.
