the Skins have come a long way since when i first started developing my skins for v0.8.0

Comparing the features available then to now... i can say that it's a HUGE improvement...

any updates on this btw?

I'd be interested in seeing VLC running on an Ipod touch. Imagine the possibilities... streaming... divx/xvid/wmv etc...

apparently the iPod Touch is running a cut-down version of the OS-X is this correct?

Look under the Extras tab in my Blissta skin

this feature was available in previous versions. but it seems to have been dropped.

it seems to be a bit buggy in terms of appearance...

also... with the "vlc version" i think it's better you have a drop down bar with all the versions listed... (instead of people having to write down manually)

well however u view the camera thru the network... e.g. by typing http://YourIP:Port then simply open a network stream in videolan... and when ur in the open dialog... under the advanced tab... click "stream/save"... click on settings... and modify it according to your requirements.. and v...

uh its already possible thru vlc...

only open-source audio prog i can think of is audacity...

punbb already has that... it outputs valid xhtml... and its not bloated like phpbb,vbulletin,Ipb etc etc

The subtitles cone is tricky... If someone didn't understand - the black rect with the symbols is like a teleprompter, or a LED message board... It's like the 1001 version of it and I'm still having trouble with designing one that looks good in small sizes + express the meaning of "subtitles&q...

not a rocket scientist... but close enough... i'm a (tele)communication engineer

firstly... if it's working in a LAN environment... then u should be able to have it overa WAN environment as well. I suggest that you should use some higher ports instead of 8080 (it could be your ISP is blocking UDP 8080... although i don't see why ).. i'd say pick a number... such as 65000 and go ...

You have to clear your preferences...

start > videolan > quick settings > reset....

as far as deleting from playlist is concerned...

im pretty sure u deleted the first file in the playlist? if so... then yes... it locks up...

are u sure? because as far as my Blissta skin is concerned... i can easily drag and drop (using 0.8.6a)...

the skin designer has to implement drag and drop in their design to enable it on skins2....

hmm u know i was thinking... it'd be great if there was svg support in vlc skins.

the reason being simple... scalability.

instead of having to resize a pixellated bitmap... you'd just have to resize the svg which is in vector format to begin with... so no loss of quality.
