I thought Skins using designs that are not self-invented are not allowed for Default Skins? And this is also leaned upon the WMP11 Skin.

oh dont you worry... after all it will be the end-user who decides which skin will be his/her default

might i add a comment... perhaps have a "works with vlc 0.82 and above"

hmm just my 2 cents as well: 1. the "glass" shadow in my opinion should be a bit lower... e.g. right in the middle instead of towards the top... 2. teh "play" button shadow is too wavy 3. font should be changed... (pretty hard to read timing) otherwise... looking nice... - Asim

altglas... try removing the spaces from your skin names... that'll do wonders ;) problem is people are clicking on the links... and not looking @ the whole link... (because ther's as space it's not making the whole link)... solution: remove the space from the file name so that its easier for ppl to ...

if only programming vlc were as simple as clicking a button and voila... If you've ever designed a webpage, be it html or xhtml you'd know that with CSS you require "dimensions" as well... otherwise you might end up positioning an image somewhere it does not belong. even with coding html y...

well... i see that there are 2 problems... 1st main problem is: the documentation... i'll be frank.. it's not exactly the best out there to put it nicely... it took me a while to understand what exactly was going on... some experimentation etc to finally get something going in terms of designing... ...

well just a request for several features... firstly... an update of the skins2 create page??? seems that playtree is missing from there? dunno what else might be missing. 2. something that can read the entire playlist to get the length of all the files combined? e.g. $A (All Time) 3. now i dont know...

the problem is that the playlist function itself is limited... for MP3s, the playlist will automatically show the song name (not the file name/location) most of the time, however as far as videos go, it will show the location only... this is as far as im aware of.

hmm... perhaps the skins should be sorted by "popularity" or "most downloaded" or something of that sort? also... perhaps the method of submitting skins should be done via a php-based form?

he is referring to how WMP is minimized (when clicking on the minimized button) onto the taskbar with basic buttons such as play, stop etc etc...

for the line endings issue... if u got windows...

to convert from *nix format to Windows format, u can simply open up in Wordpad, save the file, then quit and open it in Notepad.
