yes i picked the right subs (only one sub in the file anyway)
and as i said before some mkv load subs ok but most dont. i tried tweaking around but with no results.
maybe i use bad file or something like that.

well could this be some sort of config issure then? it is strage that it works for some and for some not. any suggestions or is this too offtopic?

Thats just what i meant to say. I tryed it with some but non worked like they do with MediaPlayer Classic.

maybe the VLC Team could ask them for a little help with the problem

Since its only a small suggestion i just post it here so i dont need to create a additonal topic....

I really like the fullscreen controll but what i dont like is that it wont remember its position on the screen (x/y cords)
would be nice to see this in the next version

Sadly VLC cant read the subtitle information stored in a Matroska Video File (mkv) it rips them apart ignores coloring and placement. If you need some sample Pictures of the Problem mail me.
