Thanks - that's one way to do it, but I was hoping for something I can easily turn on and off without having to consistently manually change back... a script would be ideal.

Hi - does anyone know of a script that lets VLC play while a baby hits a keyboard? Is there something that won't stop playback no matter what a child is doing while watching a video on a laptop or desktop?

Instead of patching this myself, I hope that someone on the VideoLAN end will actually merge the update, since it's only been 4 versions so far since it was originally reported.

dionoea, I should have noted that I'm on Windows.

neenski, it was fixed for Mac but not for Windows users. You can get the update information on videolan.org (not videolan.org/vlc).

I hope that some Windows developers come around soon. I hardly think we're in the minority ... yet.

I'm not sure what this is, but ever since I upgraded to v0.9.2, whenever I watch stuff in fullscreen (double clicking on the media player to bring up the fullscreen) the controller keeps popping up, then disappearing, then coming up, then disappearing - etc -- repeatedly. I have no idea how to turn ...
