I can't log in to submit a ticket. I don't get a password reset email, registering says my email is already taken, signing in with my main gitlab.com credentials doesn't work, and I see no link to contact a code.videolan.org admin.

Cutting with DGSplit results in a clip that won't play. I assume that means the source file is bad, but MPC-HC and PotPlayer don't have the sync issue. I have a file that plays fine in other players, but VLC on Windows and Android plays the audio out of sync.

I had this problem appear after updating from 2.1.5 to 2.2.0. I fixed it by resetting preferences to defaults, and setting it up again.

When I enable any of the geometry effects on any WMV file, the video just freezes.

When I launch VLC, I can hear one of my drive spin up. I can confirm that it happens every time I open VLC while the drive is powered down. Flip vertically. I actually never tested the other trans filters. Turns out, the flip vertically filter is the only one that has the problem.

I have videos that mpeg4modifier says do not have packet bitstream, and they still have the problem when played in VLC. I guess we should report these issues to the ffmpeg devs and get on them to fix it.

I too am praying for a skin to give 0.9.x the old GUI. My biggest complaint is the extended GUI panel being changed. The RR and FF buttons also seem more awkward.

Is there any way to tell from the files? I don't remember if that was enabled when they were encoded.

It used to be that jumping to a position in a WMV file would cause the video to be garbled for 5-10 seconds. VLC 0.9.2 no longer does this with WMV. Now it does it with XviD/Divx files, which I have never seen before.
