Do you have any template to do it?
As on my post with location/video.avi and location/video.srt, and with mp4 as target
EDIT: I've found that if I put the subtitles out of the equqtion, it simply works, with no errors, but my target is an mp4 with permanents subtitles,Any ideas

Can somebody help me? I've tried eternally with this on Windows, and now that I'm on Ubuntu I'm trying once again. My objective: an Mp4 video file, with embedded subtitles, with source files being AVI video, and SRT subtitles files. (My system is on spanish language, so I'll try to make the translat...

That's what I do, but it doesn't keep my preferences

Anyone knows how to make VLC remember certain level of volume (for example 200%)
I set it on preference (normal & advanced), but it never remember, even on the same session, or after restarting the program
Any clues?

I've already tried the GUI, but I always get ERROR.

Can someone update de video conversion (with srt files if possible) tutorial that's on the wiki?
I've tried to convert on 0.9.2, but I always get some error.

The ctrl up and ctrl down keys still work just like in prior versions.

I was refering to the Fn+PgUp/PgDn, or differents combinations, that comes with some laptops.Previous versions got no problem at all with this issue.

At the time I checked 0.9.3-git, I still got the same problem.
The definitive version wil get this fixed?

Go to Preferences=>All=>Interface=>Main Interfaces=>Qt in the left pane, in the right, uncheck "non-native..."

I was doing other thing, checking "QT Interface" on "Main Interface", but i did the right one now

Damn, don't know why but when I do that, all the program goes wrong and I have to reset all settings

- If you want a lighter volume slider, just use the option to have a normal slider in the preferences.

Where EXACTLY is that option? I've searched in all options, simple and advanced, but I can't find it

And how do you do that? I just downloaded the last version, and I've got the same problem that i can't use the Fn+PgUp/PgDown to control the volume, but I just want to keep the "classical" look.However, I regain control on full-screen mode.
Any ideas?
