Re: VLC VoD with Live555 RTSP Handling ?

Hi elyesl,

What is your latest development? I am having the same problem with my STB. Using wireshark, I noticed that the STB was not sending a DESCRIBE message unlike yours. What version of VLC are you using and what other patches did you apply to your source?

Regards,
Pak

VLC VOD to an Allwell/Xavi Pisces IPTV101

Hello, This may or may not be a VLC problem, but I am posting it here in the hopes that an RTSP expert might have more ideas. The box that I have in my possession can support mpeg2 and h264. I have successfully streamed (multicast) DTV channels from a capture card, .avi's with a transcode and straig...

Re: Streaming of 6 DVB card

Hi MrLou, Your setup is most impressive, I have been planning something similar at home for a while now. May I inquire as to the STB you are using and the PC mobo? I have an old Cascade box and it does not seem to like the a52 (dolby?) audio. It works fine to another PC. There also seems to be a pro...

Re: vlc compile - libtool: link: unsupported hardcode properties

I ran into the same problem just before.

Follow instructions in http://tuxarena.blogspot.com/2009/03/ho ... -from.html

Make sure you do a 'make clean' after updating tools and dependencies.

FYI, I built vlc-0.9.9a.tar.bz2

Re: SVideo/Composite streaming on VLC 0.92

Thanks for the tip j-b. It works now. Command is: vlc.exe -vvv --ttl 3000 dshow:// :dshow-vdev="FusionHDTV, WDM Video Capture" :dshow-adev="" :sout=#transcode{vcodec=mp2v,vb=800,scale=1}:duplicate{dst=rtp{dst=224.0.1.10,mux=ts,port=1234}} but there are still errors in the message...

Re: Stream Live Tv Problem

Hi Ileti,

I ran into the same problem on Windows version 0.92 and solved it the same way. Can you try streaming from your svideo or component input of your capture card? I could not get that working.

Thanks

Regards,
Meat

Re: SVideo/Composite streaming on VLC 0.92

I read report 1998. It is not the same. I do not see my errors on that report. Namely main debug: thread started main debug: adding a new sout input (sout_input:02602DC8) stream_out_duplicate debug: duplicated a new stream codec=I420 (es=0 group=0) main debug: adding a new input mux_ts debug: adding...

Re: DVB-T stream on VLC 0.92

Yes I got is started via the command line. I did not try other versions. Dorijan, when you get it working via the command line, can you look at your CPU utilization on the client machine? Mine sits on 100% eventhough with "plain" avi files, its around 6%. Just wondering the reason for the ...

SVideo/Composite streaming on VLC 0.92

Hello, This problem was mentioned in reply in a previous post but I think it would be more visible as a new subject. I am able to watch the SVideo and Composite inputs via "Open Capture Device", but when I try to stream it, I get the following error. qt4 debug: MRL passed to the Sout: dsho...

Re: DVB-T stream on VLC 0.92

Hi J-B, Sure. Just point me to where to get it. I will try to be in the IRC too. On another note, I can't seem to stream from my S-video/Composite input although I can watch it. Truncated debug: main debug: thread started main debug: thread 6088 (decoder) created at priority 2 (input/decoder.c:217) ...

Re: DVB-T stream on VLC 0.92

I ran into the same problem last night. It works when you run it in the command line though. Basically click on the "Show more options" and "Generated stream output string", memorize the commands and enter them in a command window. FYI, my machine is WinXP with sp2 and a Dvico Fu...
