why in AVIDumux H264 file is not properly played? Also it ask whether' indexing ' is required when H264 file is to be imported.The playback and audio mismatches when replayed the H264 file imported in safe mode.Or let me know whether H264 format not supported by AVIdemux.

I am facing same problem in some video clips replayed, downloaded from u tube.

It is too complected.I cannot do it unless step by step guidance is received.But any way thank you very much for taking so much interest.

There is no file menu in latest vlc media player.I may state that i have tried all the methods but cropped video cannot be saved in vlc media player.Some where else on the forum of vlc there is a mention of avidemux soft wear for this and it works nice.But i wanted to know any method by which croppe...

I am very sorry but i coud not get trnscode-video-WMV etc.I am not so much expert in such terminology.
I must say the crop facility is very good but there should have been easy way to save the cropped video.What is the use of record red button?

I have captured the video on tv tuner and from the file .mpg(2) i tried to record some portion by using red button on vlc player,but only MP3 file (only audio) has been created.I want the video with audio to be recorded.whether any setting is to be done in preferences?

Thanks a lot it worked.The dat file already created has also changed to regular file with VLC media player icon after renaming the file as u suggested.

AVIdemus-- Video -> Filters and Crop Thank u vlc_help.This has done very fine. However i encountered one more trouble,i.e. the file that has been created is extension file and every time when i double click the file it ask me to 'open with' option,and every time I have to specify 'Vlc media player'....

VLC is the great player+.However I will be happy,if the function of Saving the cropped or edited video is added to the next version.

As suggested in one post i have tried Avidemux softwear.However in Avidemx there is no facility to crop upper and bottom side/s of the video.This facility is in VLC ,you can just play and view the corpped video,but cropped video cannot be saved. Kindly give some solution or give this facility in you...
