It is a wrong way for axis video flash streaming. To restream axis rtsp via Wowza with rtmp will be better solution.

Re: Axis mkv file - no video in VLC 1.0.1

Hi All The only way to playback/stream/transcode the Axis MKV files with VLC(Windows only) I've found: 1) download and install VH Multi camera studio(free) from the NET(google will help)... I test it with ver.1.1.8; 2) download and install AXIS Matroska File Splitter(free) from the Axis site(http://...

Re: accessing Axis IP camera in RTP mode with VLC

Hi, what is your AXIS camera type? If it is an "old" camera f/w version 4.xx then in order to access to multicast RTP you have to switch on "always multicast" mode in WEB interface of your camera(System opton - Advanced - Plane config - Network - Always multicast). Access to to m...

Re: H. Streaming on Axis 3301

Hi, where you want to stream? If in LAN, than you have to install AMC on all of your LAN hosts and "move up"(to the top) Multicast RTP option in AMC Network settings section. After that you can playback multicast AXIS video with IE(ActiveX) and with WMP(Open url axrtpm://<ip>/axis-media/me...

Re: How do stream webcam for my laptop to another laptop?

Hi,

in vlc settings for streaming("Host Laptop") you have to point "Host Laptop" IP address with specific port and the same address&port - in vlc settings for playback on "Target Laptop".

Best regards

Hi,
1) Look for something like http or rtsp access in your cam's doc and then put it as an input stream for VLC;
2) VLC output: DIV3/WMV2, asf, mmsh

Re: Streaming Delay Problem !

1) try check in "advanced options" in 0.9.8a and change cashing, but that version is bugfull yet;
2) downgrade to 0.8.6f and you can do that in GUI (It work).

Re: Stream my webcam over the internet

Hi
It's not the vlc question. If you stream on LAN 192.168.0.104:8080 ,- you have to set your router for port forwarding(virtual server) like that: All TCP/UDP queries to WAN port 10000 forvard to LAN IP 192.168.0.104 LAN port 8080

Hi, I'm Krasimir from Bulgaria. I have two questions: 1. Is it possible to do multicast over the internet? [in general, and in my specific case, I'm on a city LAN, sharing IPs differing by just a digit (192.168.x.xx8 and 192.168.x.xx9 me/my office for instance)]. 2. Is it possible to do multicast f...

Re: rtsp to flash, livestream

Hi, is it an AXIS IP cam? If it is, then a way of partial problem solving exist. The AXIS IP video product output is MPEG4 ES unmuxed video stream, but VLC can't transcode such a strem by one way(don't ask me why). You have mux your video stream before transcoding. Example with VLC 0.9.2/4 1) AXIS v...

Hi,

You can use AXIS video encoders for MPEG4 encoding. Then you can mux the video and stream it with VLC 0.8.f without any problem. Are you from US? Then look for resellers here.
