Can't get SPDIF through my M-Audio Delta 66 (ALSA)
Hi, I'm in VLC 0.9.1 on x86 Linux. Under audio output options, I've selected my M66 card. (I am running a second sound device, an integrated VIA sound chip.) I've also checked "Use SPDIF when [where?] available". I am not getting any sound. My other multimedia players like Amarok and mplay...

I'm on 0.9.1 and I get this message when I try to play an XVID file:
My ffmpeg is compiled with xvid support.No suitable decoder module:
VLC does not support the audio or video format "XVID". Unfortunately there is no way for you to fix this.
