Hi, VOB file playing still freeze in this 0.9.2 pre-release when changing play position via time trackbar. This should be fixed through ticket #1880, but is not. But if someone could tell me the alternative DLL functionname in version 0.9.x for 'VLC_SpeedFaster' and 'VLC_SpeedSlower' I would be very thankful!

(BUG: VOB files freeze when speed up playback)

Hi all,

in the future versions 0.9.x I miss the feature to change the speed of playback. In 0.8.x this feature was implemented (VLC_SpeedFaster/VLC_SpeedSlower).
Why was this removed, is it planned or did I miss something?

the closed ticket #1880 says DVD seeking shall work now, but the nightly build version from 20080829 still freezes the video when seeking.
So this problem seems not to be solved.
(I do not know how to reactivate the ticket or create a new one, that is why I post this information here.)

BTW the current nightly build crashes with an access violation when starting vlc.exe.

When I play a VOB file with VLC media player 0.9.0 and change the play position with the trackbar, the video freezes and only the sound seems to play from the new position.
