npapi-vlc 2.0.2

I see in GIT there is a 2.0.2 tag, but I see no other sign the 2.0.2 version has been released. What version should be packaged in Linux distributions, 2.0.0 or 2.0.2?

Thanks.

openSUSE repo, makes sense to mantain it?

VLC from VideoLAN repo dinamically links again libavcodec, and VLC from Packman repo makes the same. Both repos have their own libavcodec packages. The update rate and versioning scheme (SVN release vs snapshot date) is different in each repo. So my options like an user are: - Use VLC and libavcodec...

Re: VLC 9.2 Opensuse and SMB

What
LC_ALL=C vlc --no-plugins-cache --list | grep access_
outputs?

vlc-0.9.2-0.pm.2 has access_smb available.

Re: Help : No video in SUSE 11

sound is off But you got video? Note that faad2-drm package description says: "WARNING: With that package, multi-channel aac audio doesn't work. That's the reason why the normal faad2 package is built without drm support.". If the file uses AAC audio... try to remove that package (but kee...

Lua playlist scripts in preferences folder aren't detected

http://wiki.videolan.org/Documentation:Play_HowTo/Building_Lua_Playlist_Scripts#Introduction says: You can add your own Lua playlist scripts in this directory or in your VLC's preferences folder "lua/playlist" subdirectory. If I put my script in /usr/share/vlc/lua/playlist/ I get: $ vlc -v...

Re: Help : No video in SUSE 11

I just noted the x86-64 Packman VLC doesn't has libquicktime_plugin.so. Anyway, to avoid that error message you probably need to install libquicktime0-1.0.3-100.pm.1 (from Packman) instead of libquicktime-1.0.2-15.1 (from openSUSE). Since now you have "ffmpeg FFmpeg audio/video decoder/encoder ...

Re: Help : No video in SUSE 11

btw, what kind of testing is this, and does the positioning of the asterisks * really matter? It is just a list of *exactly* what packages you have installed. I said all of them should have a ".pm." because they should be from the Packman repository instead of from the VideoLAN repository...

Please give the output from
rpm -qa 'libavcodec*' 'libavdevice*' 'libavformat*' 'libavutil*' 'libpostproc*' 'libswscale*' 'vlc*' 'MPlayer' 'libxine*' 'libffmpeg*' '*gstreamer*' 'mad' 'libmad' 'libmpeg2' '*faad2*' 'libamr*' | sort

openSUSE repo outdated

The repo isn't updated since 2008-Jun-29. Any idea of where is the problem?

Thanks.
