Installed the Firefox MediaPlayerConnectivity Extension on my Ubuntu box along with VLC.

When VLC loads the first few frames are displayed as expected and then hangs. It feels like the video stream needs to be cached to keep things moving?

Anyone have this working?

It appears the issue is related to more current sites like apple.com & such.

The plugin did work on some older sites.

Any thoughts?

This is my first time installing VLC. The only issue I have is with the Firefox plugin. When I attempt to load a video stream (ie apple.com) all I get is a black box with "(no pictue)".
