Have you tried passing the Program no. in the options. Check the command line version of VLC. I am also trying the same but unable to get the right syntax.

I have resolved the problem of seeking the portion of the clip. Now I want to know the item name playing currently from the playlist. currently im getting axVLCPlugin1.PlaylistCount.ToString() and axVLCPlugin1.PlaylistIndex.ToString(). I m using axVLCPlugin1 in c#.

I am using Playlist option of VLC. I have many big movie clips in mpeg 2 format. If I want to play a selected portion out of the entire clip is it possible to define the In and Out mark in the Playlist?
