Accurate time

I have a sport video, and I need to measure exact time of a specified interval. I need VLC to tell me what is the time in the video, to a hundreth of a second, when I pause it. Help, thanks

I managed to find scene filter in preferences. But what is directory path prefix and recording ratio? And how do I actually start screen capping after I save the preferences? I don't see the player doing anything of that sort. I tried looking, but it was for previous versions, and didn't apply, or I...

Hello, is it possible to extract a set of pictures/frames from a desired video segment in VLC? The segment is no longer then 1,5 seconds. Slider problem

This happens commonly: when I look at some videos, and want to use the slider to move forward, that is possible to do only up to some time. For somevideos it's a few minutes, for others an hour, but it is not possible to jump to a scene which is ahead. How can I solve this? Thanks
