Re: netsync on one pc, does it work ?

I have got it to work really well with .ts mpeg2 multiplexing exported from adobe media encoder with constant bit rate This code plays 3 different videos with the exact same length on one pc, multi screen video installation. The pc uses ip 127.0.0.1 instead of network ip. Written in long form for id...

Re: netsync on one pc, does it work ?

Ive got it working by running the slaves first. They then pause when the master is run and wait until it catches up. It does not work at all the other way around, for me, on 1 or more pcs. "vlc.exe path" "myfilepath1.mpg" --control netsync --netsync-master-ip 192.168.0.1 "vl...

netsync on one pc, does it work ?

Hi

Should netsync be able to work on one pc to syncronize multiple videos on multiple monitors?

When I run a slave video it does not sync and just plays a pixelated stuttering mess.

Synchronized multi-screen playback

HI I have tried in vain several times to get a synchronized networked playback of multiple HD files on multiple displays. I'm sure this is well within the capabilities of vlc but it I haven't achieved it. Simple scenarios are 1 computer with an ati eyefinity gpu (and 3 displays attached) Or 2 or mor...

x264 help

HI Where am I meant to ask for help about x264 encoder install? http://www.videolan.org/developers/x264.html Im looking for a 64bit encoder that can work in 3ds max 64 bit as I only have uncompressed avi as a codec option. For previews this would be prefect. The videolan x264 project looks like what...

Re: The slower button should be THE rewind button!

Of course it can rewind!
Maybe not smoothly but thats not the issue.

The shortcut keys all send me back to the start of the video and forward does nothing.

So theres no point in setting them up in a custom gui.

Sorry if i sound ungreatly. its really my only bug bear, honest

The slower button should be THE rewind button!

Im very confused why the slower button is not a rewind button! I dont see any everyday use for a slower button but to go back a minute or two is something I need regularly and can only do by clumsily moving the play head. And then you dont have a play normal speed button , play/pause dosnt do it, th...

Re: multi channel HD server

No I intend to use for installations, but I would love to know how you could do it live also.

Really I just want to know how you would pack HD streams into one file or whatever it is you do to make it work.

Re: multi channel HD server

Bargain , there only €2000-€4000 per board . So a 3 synched HD set up could cost up to €12000.

Ill just pop out and buy one

VLC is free, if i wanted an unlimited budget option I wouldnt be here would I

Re: multi channel HD server

Ok I see.

I had imagined that an MPEG 2 multistream could be multicast and then converted to a single stream by each of the netwrked computers.

I obviously have no idea about it though
