How do I get the audio from the wintv hvr 1800

VLC violates the DMCA because you can convert comercials dvd to another format on your computer without the use of decryption software.

how do I select the tv tuner as the audio source?

when ever I play video in vlc I see it in a windows on my monitor and iin fullscreen on my tv.

is the current release finally fully compatible with tv tuners that don't have an analog audiop output?

I use fullscreen mirroring to play the video in fullscreen on a tv while the primary monitor is in a window which works unless your display driver does not supoort it.

If you get the hauppauge wintv hvr 1800 to work properly I will upgrade to the latest release.

there is still no full support for tv tuners that do not have an onboard audio output.

does anybody else have issues with capture audio from a tv tuner with no audio out to a sound catd when use the new release. I would use my legacy wintv radio with the new relase vyt the hue is wrong and I can't fix it. yet again I am going back to .8.6i!

how do you configure vlc 0.9.2 to output the audio sent into wintv hvr 1800 I only get video.

I have the hvr 1800 which does not have a line out, so how do I tell this version to stream the audio coming into the hvr 1800? My sound card is the only thing that shows up as the audio source. update: nevermind I finally got my legacy wintv radio to work. that is the card I nromally use for tv streaming.

vlc only lets me select hvr 1800 for video. only my sound card can be selected for the audio source. the hvr 1800 is the audio source, it does not have a line out for a sound card like the older hauuapuge cards do.

vlc won't output audio that the hvr 1800 receives. vlc won't let me select the hvr 1800 as the audio source.

Is there a way to change channels on a set top box using an ir blaster. I am looking for a piece of software like remote tv but uses an ir blaster.

Is there software that would let me change channels on a setop box using a mce ir blaster. I am able to stream by Directv box signal which is fed to a tv tuner but I have to go to the box to change channels. I want something similar to remote tv but uses an ir blaster insted.

I just got an mce remote control and Ir blaster and want to know if there is a porgram that would allow me to change channels on a directv box (d11) remotely on aother computer displaying the stream.

The ir blaster is hooked up to the computer that creats the stream.

DOES VLC decrypt dvds when you stream them?

I can't get audio or video when I try to locally play my wintv hvr 950 usb stick. I can't get audio or video when streaming the wintv hvr 950 usb stick. But I do get video when I stream the WINTV Radio PCI board.

A list of compatible acquisition devices would be helpful.
