Hi chaps Anyone know of a way of making vlc run in the background on a Debian Linux? Normally to leave a process running when I leave a shell I'd do 'nohup processname &' When I do that with vlc it dies almost immediately with no indication as to why in the -vvv output. Hi guys, I sucessfully compiled on Debian Sarge with --enable-ffmpeg-mp3lame after configuring ffmpeg accordingly.
