So you have forwarded public port 1234 to local port 1234 and redirected it to the local IP that hosts the VLC stream? If so, then you could still try to put the local IP that hosts the stream in the DMZ (Exposed Host).

The nightlies are even worse, they cant even decently play the stream. Gets stuck after about a minute, tried multiple streams.

My experience with mpeg2 multicast is that you have to check the "interlaced encoding" checkbox at the "ffmpeg" settings in order to get a decent picture out of it. This is, offcourse, assuming you also use VLC to stream it, not only to play the stream.

Hey, I have a problem using RTSP streams in VLC 0.8.6C when using RTSP streams, normaly you would get a timebar and you would be able to pause and resume when you want to, but there isn't a timebar and it doesnt even respond to the pause button.
