the changelog says that vlc can now play dolby true-hd. i tested it with various files in m2ts container, even the elementary stream and it doesn't work. did i miss something???
seriously, vlc fails for that matter totally and i have no idea why it shouldn't be working. i have a g5 dual 2.5ghz and i can play h.264 @ 65mbps flawless in quicktime. but playing a h.264 files within a .ts file is a whole different story. is there a way to accelerate vlc for such playback or does...
i have afew trailers recorded from hdtv. those clips where .ts files and played fine but after making those in .mpg with the windows app "hdtv2mpeg2" the files only play with black screen. so i wonder why this is and i hope there is fix for this.
since the latest version (0.7.0) of the vlc player i have problems to use my .vob or .ts files. before updating i could simply double click the files and vlx opened them but now a different app opens them like diva or mplayer. i thought that maybe the update of the vl c player scewed up a bit and so...
