Howdy, When I run VLC 0.86c (latest download) on Vista with a Nivida 7900GTS - I have problems when I use full screen. The Start Bar of Windows draws in FRONT of VLC. I have only one screen, DVI connected, 1080p TV at native 1080p resolution. Anyone else having this problem with the Windows Start B...

Nope i have not tried the nightly builds. But is it stable to use them?

Edit: nvm i've tried it and it's worse than the stable release... now displays square boxes again...

I've tried your method and finally got the chinese subs out too. But I get the same problem as you too (with the 2 ? at the end replacing the last 2 chinese words). Any solutions yet?

I've tried changing the subtitles text encoding (under Preferences-->Input/Codecs-->Other codecs-->subtitles) to GB2312, GBK, GB18030, HZ, ISO-2022-CN, Big5, Big5-HKSC5, EUC-TW, UTF-8, UTF-7, UTF-16, UTF-32 but the .srt subtitles still can't be seen (only rectangular boxes seen).
